Charlie as the Tipsy Dancer in Tango Tangles c.1914
I adore the Tramp character, but do love to see his face without the make up while acting.
Perfection.

Charlie and Scraps on the set of A Dog’s Life c.1918
one of my favourite pics of Charlot
This film is the second of five of Charlie’s films to have a dog play a part in his adventures, the others being (in order) The Champion, The Gold Rush, City Lights and Modern Times.
(He also had an angel dog with him in the dream sequence in the Kid. I used to be convinced this was on the set of the Kid)

In Between Showers (c.1914) Emma Clifton plays the love interest, Charles Chaplin plays the Tramp/interloper, Ford Sterling is Emma’s boyfriend and Chester Conklin is the park cop.
This pretty much sums up the plot in one picture :D
