This poster was in the Paris Metro in 2003, Chaplininpictures (Jess) was just saying today and it’s true, the French really love Charlie Chaplin or Charlot as he is affectionately known, actually as an American I have always admired how the French seem to embrace and get things that we (collectively) just don’t.  As an American the most obvious, how France embraced our African American dancers and musicians long before we did, most notably the great Josephine Baker.
